Edmonton Folk Festival Has Solid Lineup

The 30th annual Edmonton Folk Music Festival has confirmed its talent lineup.
The Aug. 6 to 9 event at Gallagher Park will be highlighted by Canadians Joel Plaskett, Ashley MacIsaac, Great Lake Swimmers and Kathleen Edwards, and international acts like Sharon Jones And The Dap Kings, Neko Case and Iron And Wine.
Food, beverages, crafts, recordings and memorabilia will be sold on the festival grounds. A variety of tickets and passes will go on sale at 9 a.m. on June 1. More information is available on the festival's website.
