Fucked Up's Pink Eyes Joins Fox News

Fucked Up vocalist Damian "Pink Eyes" Abraham will appear on Fox News far more often now that he's become one of the network's commentators.

Pink Eyes appeared on Fox News earlier this year after Red Eye host Greg Gutfeld named Fucked Up's The Chemistry Of Common Life his favourite album of 2008.

Gutfeld (and viewers, probably) enjoyed him so much that he was asked back for a second appearance, just after Gutield made some extremely controversial comments about Canadian troops in Afghanistan. Pink Eyes shocked producers when he gave Gutfeld a "Support Our Canadian Troops" T-shirt.

"The idea of being in New York City and walking into the Fox News building was like, something that even last year would have been out of the question — unless I had some other agenda going in there," Pink Eyes told The Canadian Press.

"Here I am as an invited guest sitting down at Fox News. It's just so bizarre."

Pink Eyes told CP that Fox would like him to make at least one appearance per month, and as many as three. They wanted to make him a gender expert because he was a women's studies major in university, but Pink Eyes told them it might not be the best idea.

"I pointed out that there'd probably be something problematic in having a white male be an expert on gender issues."
