Beastie Boys Are Hot Sauce Committee

Beastie Boys

The Beastie Boys' recently completed eighth studio album will be called Hot Sauce Committee.

The trio declared the name of the new album, which was tentatively titled Tadlock's Glasses, in a message to members of their email list.

No release date has been set for the follow-up to 2007's Grammy Award-winning instrumental album The Mix-Up.

Beastie Boys appeared on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on Monday to promote the record, which bassist Adam "MCA" Yauch called "bizarre" in an interview with BBC 5 Live earlier this year.

"It's a combination of playing and sampling stuff as we're playing, and also sampling pretty obscure records," he said.

"There are a lot of songs on the record and there are a lot of short songs and they kind of all run into each other."
