Eighties teen heartthrobs New Kids On The Block are milking their recent comeback for all it's worth.
The group reunited last May for the first time since they disbanded 14 years earlier and they've managed to remain pop idols despite the fact that the members are all hovering around 40 years of age, thanks largely to the loyalty of their now-adult female fans.
Several dates of NKOTB's 2008 North American tour, which kicked off at Toronto's Air Canada Centre last September, sold out in minutes. And last year's The Block was certified gold in Canada. Now Donnie Wahlberg, Danny Wood, Joey McIntyre, Jordan Knight and Jonathan Knight have made dreams come true on a three-day cruise.
The sold-out trip took place from May 15 to 18 on the Carnival Imagination, which set sail from Miami and travelled to the Bahamas and back. NKOTB performed, posed for photos, sold memorabilia and hung out with the 2,100 passengers, who paid more than $1,000 each for the cruise.
