Charlatans UK Playing Ontario Shows

The Charlatans UK are coming to Canada in September.
The British band will play the Music Hall in London, Ont. on Sept. 22 and Toronto's Mod Club the next night with openers Hatcham Social.
Tickets go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster, Live Nation and Toronto record stores Rotate This and Soundscapes. The London show will cost $18.50 to attend, while tickets to the Toronto gig will run you $36.
The Charlatans UK are known simply as The Charlatans in their homeland, and were forced to add "UK" to their name in North America in the early '90s to avoid confusion with '60s rock group The Charlatans.
The band's Some Friendly debut came out in 1990 and contained what might be their most well-known hit, "The Only One I Know." The Charlatans UK have released nine albums since then, with their most recent being last year's You Cross My Path.
The Charlatans UK will play these dates:
June 14 Newport, England @ Seaclose Park (Isle Of Wight Festival)
June 20 Newton-Le-Willows, England @ Haydock Park Racecourse
