Shane MacGowan Gets New Teeth

Pogues frontman Shane MacGowan finally has new teeth.

MacGowan — who's famous for his hard partying, alcoholism and what used to be a gigantic gap in his top front teeth that he acquired after he fell over a wall and smashed his mouth on bricks while boozing — was recently in Malaga, Spain to get a brand new set of teeth, according to Britain's Daily Mail tabloid.

MacGowan told Daily Mail last year he planned to have dental surgery and get emergency dentures installed to prevent his face from falling apart.

"I'm going to get my teeth done," he said. "I might get some dentures in and leave it at that, or I might get them done gradually."
