In yet another sign that the apocalypse is very nigh, boy band LFO will reunite for a one-off show at New York City's Highline Ballroom on July 18.
Rich Cronin, Devin Lima and Brad Fischetti will be supported at the gig by Rookie Of The Year, Go Crash Audio and Kiernan McMullan. Tickets go on sale on Thursday at noon and will cost $35. VIP tickets, which also include backstage and soundcheck access and "meet and greet" options, will also be available.
LFO (or Lyte Funky Ones) are probably best known for the Abercrombie & Fitch-shilling, New Kids On The Block-referencing "Summer Girls," which hit #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1999. It was largely responsible for the success of their self-titled album that was certified platinum in the U.S. and gold in Canada.
LFO broke up a year after the release of 2001's Life Is Good.
