Artists Dish Secrets For City Sonic

City Sonic, a new cross-platform documentary film series in which Toronto artists discuss the bars where they started their careers, will premiere at the city's Drake Hotel on June 17 as part of North By Northeast.
The first episodes of Kensington Communications and White Pine Pictures' series of 24 short documentaries will feature Sarah Slean, Holy Fuck's Brian Borcherdt and Barenaked Ladies' Tyler Stewart.
City Sonic will also feature Cancer Bats, Jason Collett, Sebastien Grainger and Blue Rodeo's Bazil Donovan with Justin Rutledge. The films were directed by the likes of Bruce McDonald (Hard Core Logo), Peter Lynch (Arrowhead), Anita Doron (The End Of Silence) and Rob Pilichowski (The Rawside Of...).
Select City Sonic films will screen as part of the NXNE film festival and online at citysonic.tv and other online social media outlets.
The series will launch this fall on television, online and on mobile phones.
