STP Starting Short Tour

Stone Temple Pilots will begin a short North American tour on July 1.
The jaunt follows frontman Scott Weiland's brief tour in support of his Happy In Galoshes solo album that came out last year.
Weiland told MTV News last year that Stone Temple Pilots had written new material, but a legal battle with Atlantic Records was preventing them from releasing it. It's not known whether they'll play any new songs on the tour.
Weiland will play solo shows in California at Anaheim's House Of Blues on Saturday and Ventura's Majestic Ventura Theater on Sunday.
