Vampire Weekend, Ra Ra Riot Members Make Discovery

Vampire Weekend keyboardist Rostam Batmanglij and Ra Ra Riot singer Wes Miles have formed Discovery, whose LP debut album will be released on July 7 by XL.

The electronic-based "Orange Shirt" and "Osaka Loop Line" can be previewed on Discovery's MySpace page.

Vampire Weekend's Ezra Koenig guests on "Carby" and Dirty Projectors' Angel Deradoorian appears on "I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend." We're not sure if that last track is a cover of either The Ramones or The Rubinoos' songs of the same name, but "I Want You Back" is supposed to be an AutoTuned interpretation of The Jackson 5 hit.
