Two Hours Traffic have finished mixing their
third album and are working on its artwork, according to a May 9 MySpace
blog entry.
The Charlottetown band recorded the as-yet-untitled album with Joel Plaskett, who produced their 2005 self-titled debut album, 2006's
Isolator EP and their
2008 Polaris Music Prize-shortlisted Little Jabs. The album still doesn't have a release date.
Two Hours Traffic have been "laying pretty low" for the last few weeks since guitarist/singer Liam Corcoran has been in Ireland on his honeymoon.
There's a good chance you could hear Two Hours Traffic songs on television these days, especially on MTV's new
Camp'd Out reality show, which uses "Stuck For The Summer" as its theme song.
Chuck's Day Off, a new Food TV show, also occasionally uses the band's music.
Two Hours Traffic will play Charlottetown's Festival Of Lights on the city's Waterfront on July 3.
