The Cult Playing Love In Entirety On Tour

The Cult will mount North American and European tours this year with the main attraction being the performance of 1985's Love — which featured the hits "She Sells Sanctuary" and "Rain" — in its entirety.
The Love Live Tour will include Canadian stops in Abbotsford, B.C., Calgary, Edmonton and Toronto. No ticket information is yet available.
"The band is redefining the live album experience with the Love Live Tour; nothing is comparable to witnessing The Cult, fully engaged in the live creation of arguably their seminal album," said band manager Tom Vitorino.
The Cult emerged from Southern Death Cult and released their Dreamtime debut in 1984. Over the years, they've released eight albums and have broken up and reunited several times, and have gone through various members.
The latest lineup is made up of singer Ian Astbury, guitarists
Billy Duffy and Mike Dimkich, ex-White Zombie drummer John Tempesta and
bassist Chris Wyse.
The British group's last album was 2007's Born Into This. They're apparently working on a new record that could come out later this year.
The Cult will play these dates prior to their Love Live tour:
