Blink-182 played a surprise reunion gig at Hollywood's Paramount Pictures lot on Thursday night and have announced details of their upcoming summer tour.

Singer/bassist Mark Hoppus, singer/guitarist Tom DeLonge and drummer Travis Barker were asked to serve as the surprise closers of an event that unveiled the T-Mobile Sidekick LX. Barker and DJ Am were on the bill along with Weezer, who will open part of Blink-182's upcoming summer tour.

"Thanks to Travis and Tom," Hoppus wrote on his blog on Friday morning. "You are my brothers, and it feels amazing to share the stage with you once again."

Blink-182's reunion tour kicks off July 24 in Los Angeles and runs until Oct. 3 in Altantic City, N.J. Eight Canadian dates are on the itinerary: Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Quebec City, Montreal and Toronto.

Openers include Weezer, Fall Out Boy, Panic At The Disco, All-American Rejects, Taking Back Sunday, Asher Roth and Chester French, according to Billboard.com. It's not yet been determined what dates those acts will appear on the bill.

Blink-182 manager Rick Devoe told Billboard.com the band are rehearsing and are "hoping to have at least one new song in the repertoire."

Devoe also said tickets will be affordable, with amphitheatre lawn seats costing $20. Tickets go on sale on May 30 through Live Nation's website.
