Islands Releasing Vapours In September

Islands' third album will be titled Vapours when it's released in September.
Frontman Nick Thorburn wrote that the band had completed the disc on his Twitter on Monday after another post in which he said the band were "sequencing the album, doin' the fades and outputting a master(piece)."
Thorburn was at New York City's Sterling Sound mastering the 42-minute and 34-second disc with Greg Calbi (Grizzly Bear, Antony And The Johnsons).
Islands began recording Vapours at New York City's Stratosphere Studio earlier this year. Former Islands drummer J'aime Tambeur rejoined the band for the recording, which also features programming from Wolf Parade's Hadji Bakara.
Thorburn has described Vapours as being more "minimal" than last year's Arm's Way.
Islands will play the south stage as part of Toronto Pride Week on June 27.
