Dragonette Fixin To Thrill With Album

Dragonette are preparing to release a new album called Fixin To Thrill through Mercury Records.
The official release date hasn't been revealed, but Dragonette wrote in a MySpace blog entry on Friday that fans should expect it in August or September.
The title track and first single will be released the last week of May, but you can hear it on the group's MySpace page. An a capella version that can be remixed can be downloaded here.
Videos and commissioned remixes will be released in support of the album.
Dragonette will have a slightly new look when they tour. Audacious frontwoman Martina Sorbara, husband/bassist Dan Kurtz and drummer Joel Stouffer will be joined on stage by new guitarist Chris Huggett. He replaces Will Stapleton, who has left to pursue a solo career.
The group's last album, the brazenly sexual Galore, dropped in September 2007.
Dragonette's only scheduled concert will take place at Elche, Spain's La Llotja Centre Cultural on May 23.
