Handsome Furs Get Stylish

Montreal's Handsome Furs have been chosen to participate in the Soundscreen Design Summer 2009 Collection.

Designers Brian Roettinger (Hand Held Heart), Jay Ryan (The Bird Machine) and Yannick Desranleau and Chloe Lum (Seripop) picked bands to use as inspiration for a series of shirts, hoodies and tote bags. The Handsome Furs series was done by fellow Montreal duo, Seripop.

The garments have been custom-sized and dyed according to the designers' wishes and are printed in an environmentally friendly manner on 100 per cent organic cotton. The totes are made from bamboo.

The collection also features items inspired by Deerhoof, Fucked Up, Battles, The National, No Age, Liars, Pelican and Gang Gang Dance.
