Apple Approves NIN Application Update

Apple has approved a Nine Inch Nails' iPhone and iTouch application update after initially rejecting it for including "objectionable" content from 1994's "The Downward Spiral" single.

Apple originally wouldn't approve the update because it said it violated the company's policy against "obscene, pornographic, offensive or defamatory content of any kind."

NIN main man Trent Reznor went on the attack against the technology company earlier this week after learning it wanted to censor his work, but everybody seems to be satisfied now.

"NEWS FLASH: Apple has approved the NIN iPhone app update. Should be live in a few hours," Reznor wrote on his Twitter on Thursday.

"The NIN iPhone app is unchanged, the 'issues' seem to have been resolved," he added one Tweet later.

Reznor also wrote that the now-approved 1.0.3 update should fix "international crashing issues" that fans had been complaining about.
