Tegan Quin On Jim Ward EP

Tegan And Sara's Tegan Quin appears on former At The Drive-In guitarist and current Sparta and Sleepercar singer/guitarist Jim Ward's recently released In The Valley, On The Shores EP.

Quin shows up on "Broken Songs," the second of the disc's five songs. In The Valley, On The Shores is the second of Ward's three-part EP series. Physical copies are available through the Tembloroso Creative Lab website, where you can name your price for a digital version.

"I met Jim at a festival in Germany (he did not write a song about it)," Quin wrote in a May 1 MySpace blog entry. "Then we hung out when his band Sparta were opening for Velvet Revolver in Vancouver a couple years ago now.

"We have the same birthday and we basically became best friends that night."

I wonder if Fat Mike is jealous? Wait, he thinks Tegan is uncool.

Tegan And Sara are still working on their sixth and as-yet-untitled album, which should be in stores sometime this year.

You can see Tegan And Sara with The New Pornographers and Death Cab For Cutie at Los Angeles' Hollywood Bowl on July 5.
