Our Lady Peace's seventh studio album, Burn Burn, will hit stores on July 21 through Sony in Canada and Warner Music Group's Independent Label Group in the U.S.
The band produced and recorded the follow-up to 2005's Healthy In Paranoid Times at singer Raine Maida's home studio in Los Angeles. Our Lady Peace began working on it before the release of Maida's The Hunter's Lullaby solo debut and it's said to be a return to the band's earlier sound on albums like 1994's Naveed.
"We've come full circle and the music is just stripped down, full of raw energy," Maida says. "It feels like a proper rock record again."
First single "All You Did Was Save My Life" will hit radio on May 25. Its accompanying video, which features 90210 actress Shenae Grimes and was shot in Ancaster, Ont. last month, will be released the same day.
Fans can check out the album artwork, videos of the studio sessions and other exclusive material on Our Lady Peace's website.

Here are the songs on Burn Burn:
"All You Did Was Save My Life"
"Dreamland"
"Monkey Brains"
"Never Get Over You"
"Escape Artist"
"Refuge"
"The Right Stuff"
"Paper Moon"
"Signs Of Life"
"White Flags"

The Right Stuff = a really, really bad song. I have a live version of it, and it's catchy and gets in your head, yes, but it's very cheesy.
Monkey Brains is ace, though. That's the standout track that really makes me reminisce in Naveed. All You Did Was Save My Life is a decent power ballad-y song, and I really like it.
Burn Burn isn't going to be any worse than Healthy or Gravity.

"The Right Stuff" = possible NKOTB cover?
