Britney Spears' Hotel Demands

For anyone who wanted to know what it would be like to spend the night with Britney Spears, now's your chance.

The singer's list of hotel demands has been revealed and, although she may be a fan of Cheetos and grits, the southern-fried belle enjoys a taste of the high life.

The rider given to the Dorchester Hotel in London, England, where Spears will be staying during an eight-show run of her Circus tour, reveals this ringleader really does call the shots.

Given the Circus tour's 2009 profits are second only to Elton John’s stint at Las Vegas' Caesars Palace, Spears can afford a few creature comforts.

While Spears brings her own pillows, she wants security to sleep outside her room — if they can figure out which one it is, since she checks in under various names. One is Sugar Kane, the name of Marilyn Monroe's character in Some Like It Hot.

Spears' demands, according to a hotel employee who spilled the beans in a CBS News report, include:

• Tickets to shows playing in London theatres
• A room that has never been smoked in (you know how Spears can be around smokers)
• Humidifiers in all areas
• A selection of the latest magazines
• A fresh selection of flowers that she can arrange
• DVDs of her favourite Marilyn Monroe movies
• Books — ideally, topical chick lit novels
• Lighting with 100-watt bulbs and nothing lower
• Running routes for nearby Hyde Park and horse-riding opportunities
• A list of different routes to the venue from the hotel to keep the paparazzi at bay
• A private visit to Kensington Palace, the former home of the late Princess Diana
