Fabulous divas, '80s pop icons, top DJs and local heroes will headline Toronto Pride Week's musical performances from June 19 to 28.
One of the world's largest annual gay pride events will take up parks, streets and clubs in the city's Church and Wellesley neighbourhood and elsewhere.
Deborah Cox will headline on June 27 and will be followed the next night by another Toronto R&B singer, Divine Brown (who definitely shouldn't be confused with the late musical drag queen, singer and actor/actress, Divine).
But the highlight could easily be the lineup of British '80s acts ABC, Wang Chung, Heaven 17 and Cutting Crew on The Wellesley Stage on June 28.
The Cliks, Dance Yourself To Death, Carole Pope, Ferron with The Be Good Tanyas' Samantha Parton, Hooded Fang, Gentleman Reg, Kids On TV, Islands, Fritz Helder & The Phantoms, Esthero, Opopo and Lioness are among the other musical acts slated to perform.
A full schedule of events can be found on the Pride website.
