McLachlan Involvement In Lilith Fair Confirmed

It's confirmed: Lilith Fair will return in 2010.
Nettwerk spokesman Rich Adams told the Canadian Press the all-female concert will return next summer. He also said festival co-founder Sarah McLachlan will be involved, though he wouldn't specify if she would perform at or merely organize the event.
Nettwerk CEO Terry McBride first let the cat out of the bag last Friday when he Tweeted: "Lilith Fair 2010 here we come!!"
A day later, he Tweeted: "lilith fair will look at doing 2 weeks in the UK/Europe in 2010."
McLachlan, who recently separated from her drummer husband of 11 years, Ashwin Sood, is writing her first new studio album since 2003's Afterglow.
She released Closer: The Best Of Sarah McLachlan last fall and received the Allan Waters Humanitarian Award at this year's Juno Awards.
The travelling summer music festival, which was founded by McLachlan, McBride and Nettwerk's Dan Fraser, ran from 1997 to 1999 and raised over $10 million for women's charities across North America.
