Japandroids Reschedule Tour

Vancouver duo Japandroids have rescheduled dates for their North American tour because singer/guitarist Brian King had emergency surgery on a perforated ulcer.

The tour was slated to run from April 25 to May 16 in support of the recently released Post-Nothing, but will now go from May 20 to July 25. Tickets for Japandroids' Toronto and New York shows will be honoured at the new dates, and refunds are available at point of purchase.

Perforated ulcers occur when an ulcer burns through the stomach walls and lets stomach acid and food get into the abdominal cavity. They can kill if left untreated, and have previously claimed the lives of writers J.R.R. Tolkien and James Joyce.
