GaGa Vs. Russian Cops

Lady GaGa
It's not surprising that Lady GaGa was stopped by police in Russia this weekend because of what she was wearing.

"They tried to arrest me in Russia, for leather at St. Basil's [Cathedral, in Moscow's Red Square]," GaGa (real name Stefani Germanotta) Tweeted on Saturday. "But all is calm in the red square, as I leave the east Parisbound."

We're willing to bet the leather wasn't a problem. It was probably how little of it she was wearing. GaGa has a tendency to provoke people with a lack of clothes.

GaGa was stopped by Chicago police earlier this year and warned about showing too much skin because her hot pants "weren't really pants," she said in an interview with Britain's Daily Star tabloid last month. She also admitted she used to go to Lollapalooza to partake in naked acid trips.

Britain's Daily Mail tabloid reported in an April 17 article that GaGa showed up at a London, England club in a "see-through chiffon catsuit.

"To spare her blushes, the 23-year-old resorted to placing black duct tape across her nipples."

GaGa also said she once had sex in the back of a New York City taxi.
