Megadeth And Slayer Cause Canadian Carnage

Metal veterans Megadeth and Slayer will perform together for the first time in more than 15 years when they co-headline the Canadian Carnage tour with Machine Head and Suicide Silence in four cities in late June.
Tickets go on sale on Saturday via Ticketmaster and will run you from $59.50 to $79.50.
Guitarist/vocalist Dave Mustaine, guitarist Chris Broderick, bassist James Lomenzo and drummer Shawn Drover are recording Megadeth's 12th studio album in Los Angeles with producer Andy Sneap (Arch Enemy, Cradle Of Filth). The follow-up to 2007's United Abominations is scheduled for release this summer. A world tour is expected to follow.
Slayer guitarists Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman, vocalist/bassist Tom Araya and
drummer Dave Lombardo are in Los Angeles recording the band's 10th studio
album with producers Greg Fidelman (The Wildbirds, Life Of Agony) and
Rick Rubin (Metallica, Weezer). Plans are to release the still untitled
record in July in tandem with the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem tour,
which Slayer are co-headlining
with Marilyn Manson.
The Grammy Award-nominated Machine Head are touring in support of The Blackening. Suicide Silence's No Time To Bleed sophomore album, which was produced by Machine (Lamb Of God, Boys Night Out), will be released on June 30.
