Fredericton Vs. Black Crowes

Some rock music-hating residents of Fredericton, N.B. are ticked off they didn't have enough say in June's FredRock festival.
The Black Crowes and Live will headline the three-night event at the downtown Capital Exhibit Centre And Raceway from June 19 to 21.
The event will also feature Matt Mays & El Torpedo, The Respectables
(with an appearance by former Big Sugar and current Grady
singer/guitarist Gordie Johnson), Futures Past and local favourites
Ross Neilsen & The Sufferin' Bastards and She Roars!.
About 70 citzens attended a meeting on April 23 to express their concerns about noise, security and parking issues. Concert promoters, city officials and police also attended to try and deal with the complaints. They said extra cops will be on hand at the event and measures would be taken to ensure people's safety.
Organizers expect to sell up to 15,000 tickets to FredRock and would like to make it an annual event.
