Britney Loses Hair, Crib Loses Part Of Ear

Britney Spears
Britney Spears had some of her hair — or at least fake extensions — ripped out on stage during one of the choreographed routines that are part of her Circus tour at a show in Oakland, Calif. on Wednesday night.

Here's the hair-raising (hair-removing would probably be more appropriate) stunt:

The acrobatics that form part of Spears' performances are apparently taking a toll on her, according to an unnamed source who spoke to British tabloid the Daily Mirror.

"The choreography is insane — it's so fast, it is really taking its toll on her. There is one move during 'Touch Of My Hand,' where two guys dangle from the ceiling and pick her up upside down, which is really getting to her.

"She spins around for nearly five minutes some nights. The blood rushes to her head and when she gets down, she complains of nausea and dizziness.

"There have been a couple of times when she ran off stage and vomited."

Even with Thursday night's accident, Spears still has a lot more hair than she did two years ago.

The Cribs' Ryan Jarman has slightly less flesh in his right ear after bandmate Johnny Marr pierced it while they were in between recording sessions for the new album they're working on with producer Nick Launay (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Silverchair).

Marr has displayed masterful guitar skills with The Smiths, The Pretenders, The The, Electronic, Modest Mouse, The Cribs and his own band The Healers over the years, but let's see how nimble his fingers are with something without strings:
