Linkin Park Apple Apps Coming

Linkin Park will release applications for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch later this year.
There's not much information about the apps right now, but the band will issue them in connection with Artificial Life, which produces iPhone and iPod Touch games. The company will release two Linkin Park applications each year for the next three years.
The applications will feature "the band's likeness and music in unconventional styles," according to Blabbermouth.net.
"We're really excited to start working on new ways for you guys to enjoy our music and use the latest technology to enable you to connect with each other within a Linkin Park experience," DJ Joe Hahn says.
Nine Inch Nails released an iPhone application called NIN: Access earlier this month. It lets NIN fans access photos, videos, message boards and music, and features a Google Earth plug-in that lets users post messages and photos to the site from their iPhones. You can download it from the Nine Inch Nails website.
Linkin Park's Songs From The Underground, a collection of songs previously only released through the LP Underground fan club, recently came out in Malaysia, the Phillippines and other Asian countries. The band released a live CD/DVD titled Road To Revolution late last year.
