Two Live Nirvana DVDs Coming

Two DVDs featuring Nirvana's 1992 performance at England's Reading Festival are on the way.

The first is an unofficial bootleg release titled Life Takes No Prisoners that will arrive on May 4.

The second has been officially sanctioned by the band's surviving members. Universal Music will release Live At Reading in November with restored video footage and remastered 5:1 surround sound. It will also include bonus features which haven't yet been revealed.

Four Nirvana albums will be reissued on vinyl this year, but bassist Krist Novoselic told the Seattle Post-Intelligencer that no more unreleased songs would be coming out.

"There's not going to be any new Nirvana records," he said. "What there is, is video. There's a lot of video."

Following rumours that he was in poor health, singer/guitarist Kurt Cobain came on stage for the Reading performance in a wheelchair and wore a white hospital gown that he kept on for the entire set. Here's some of it:
