Avril Lavigne Wants To Erase MS

Avril Lavigne is supporting the Race To Erase MS campaign to raise money for the Nancy Davis Foundation For Multiple Sclerosis.

Lavigne is encouraging fans to buy Orange You Happy To Erase MS T-shirts and Orange You Lucky Peace & Love wrap bracelets from erasems.org throughout May. Proceeds will go to the Nancy Davis Foundation For Multiple Sclerosis, which is dedicated to treating and finding a cure for multiple sclerosis.

Race To Erase MS will feature a special gala on May 8 at the Hyatt Regeny Central Plaza hotel in Century City, Calif. that will include performances by The Eagles and Michelle Branch. More information is available at the Erase MS website.

Lavigne released a fragrance called Black Star, last month. She reportedly contributed to Lil Wayne's Rebirth rock album that will be released on June 16.

Lavigne's last record was 2007's The Best Damn Thing.
