Sunparlour Players Wave North In May

Sunparlour Players will release their second album, Wave North, on May 19 through Outside Music.
The follow-up to 2007's Hymns For The Happy was recorded by producer Jeremy Backofen (Frightened Rabbit, Mice Parade) at Blue Rodeo's Woodshed Studios and the FemBots' Junkshop in Toronto between December and February. Wave North features a choir and horn section recorded at Toronto's Factory Theatre.
You can hear "Battle Of 77" on the Sunparlour Players' MySpace page.
Sunparlour Players are Andrew Penner (vocals, guitar, bass, banjo, kick drum), who was raised in a Mennonite community near Leamington, Ont., and multi-instrumentalists Dennis Van Dine and Michael "Rosie" Rosenthal.
