New Hayden Album In May

Hayden will release his sixth studio album, The Place Where We Lived, on May 26 through his Hardwood Records label.
The somewhat reclusive artist brought in friend and fellow Toronto musician Howie Beck to produce the album, making it Hayden's first non-self-produced record since 1998's The Closer I Get.
"On the last three records, I took so long making them that I actually looked different once they were done," jokes the man born Hayden Desser.
Hayden and his backing band Cuff The Duke went straight from their American tour into Toronto's Canterbury Sound studios to record The Place Where We Lived live off the floor. Other musicians contributed at other recording sessions at Beck's 4-Walls Studios. Australia's Holly Throsby contributed vocals online from her homeland.
