The Dresden Dolls' Amanda Palmer will release a photography book called Who Killed Amanda Palmer on July 7.
The book is the companion to last year's Who Killed Amanda Palmer album and features photos of Palmer posing as a corpse in various grotesque ways. The pictures are accompanied by stories by author Neil Gaiman. You can see some of the shots and preview some prose here, where you can also pre-order the book.
Palmer will appear with students in a play about the Holocaust called The Needle That Sings In Heart at Lexington High School in Lexington, Mass. from May 7 to 9.
Palmer's still touring in support of Who Killed Amanda Palmer (and trying to be dropped by Roadrunner Records). You can see her here:
April 26 Wellesley, MA @ Wellesley College
April 28 Boston, MA @ Big Apple Circus Tent (ClimACTs Under A Big Top)
May 7-9 Lexington, MA @ Lexington High School
May 5 New York, NY @ Highline Ballroom
