Billy Talent have finished recording their imaginatively titled follow-up to their Billy Talent II sophomore effort and have launched a similarly named website in support of Billy Talent III.
The Warner album was recorded by producer Brendan O'Brien (Pearl Jam, Limp Bizkit) in studios in Los Angeles and Atlanta and is tentatively scheduled for worldwide release in July.
A video for first single "Rusted From The Rain" was recently shot in Los Angeles with director Wayne Isham (Metallica, Bon Jovi).
Billy Talent and the record company promise the new website will be constantly updated with behind the scenes video footage of the Toronto band in the studio and on the set of their video shoot, as well as new photos. Group members will post regular reports from the road prior to the release of Billy Talent III.
Fans will be able to pre-order Billy Talent III on the site and can access a free, downloadable, media-rich reward-based widget that can be shared with friends. The more they use the widget, the more content they'll get access to.
Billy Talent performed at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio, Calif. on Saturday and have have other festival appearances and shows scheduled in North America and Europe over the next couple of months. They'll tour the U.S. with Rancid and Rise Against from July 6 to 30.
