The 10th annual MUTEK festival will feature more than 50 electronic music and experimental art performances spread across five indoor and outdoor venues in Montreal from May 27 to 31.
Germany's Wolfgang Voigt will deliver the Canadian premiere of his 90-minute audio-visual dreamscape, GAS, to open MUTEK. Skoltz-Kolgen's Herman Kolgen will present the world premiere of his IN/JECT project the same night.
Select Montreal subway stations will feature galleries of photos taken over MUTEK's first nine years starting today (Monday) and running through June 1.
Individual tickets, day passes, weekend and five-day passports can be purchased through the MUTEK website, where schedules and more detailed information about the festival and its performances can also be found in both of Canada's official languages.
