Canadian bands Japandroids, Plants And Animals and Women have been added to the growing lineup of July's Pitchfork Music Festival.
Yeasayer, Blitzen Trapper, Mew and Disappears will also be a part of the July 17-19 event in Chicago's Union Park. They join the likes of the previously announced Flaming Lips, The National, Grizzly Bear, Black Lips, The Walkmen and Fucked Up.
The festival will launch with the "Write The Night: Set Lists By Request" series, where Built To Spill, The Jesus Lizard, Yo La Tengo and Tortoise's set lists will be chosen by fans. Those who purchase tickets from
Ticket Web will be sent a confirmation email with a link to a web page where they can vote for what songs they want to hear from each band. The groups will tailor their set lists accordingly after voting ends on June 12.
