Buy Eddie Van Halen's Shoes

If you admire Eddie Van Halen's signature Frankenstein red, white and black guitar, but are all thumbs when it comes to playing the axe, maybe some shoes that look like his guitar might be a better fit for you.
Van Halen has partnered with FEA Merchandising to release high- and low-top canvas shoes with red, white and black stripes that feature the pattern found on his guitar and are just like those Van Halen wears on stage. They're also available in black and white and black and yellow.
Low tops will run you $54 U.S. (about $65 Canadian), while the high tops go for $59. You can buy them at EVHgear.com and specialty stores.
"So many people would ask me, 'Where can I get a pair of those?'" Van Halen said in a statement. "After hearing that for about 15 years, I figured they were something that people obviously wanted, so making them available and official seemed like a natural progression."
Van Halen created the "indestructible" Wolfgang guitar, which he says is impossible to break, earlier this year. It costs $3,000 through the EVHgear site.
