Billy Corgan's Wrestling Video

Billy Corgan is a well-documented wrestling follower and arguably a big fan of playing the heel, so it probably shouldn't be surprising that Corgan appears in a promo for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling or that the video for the Smashing Pumpkins' "Bullet With Butterfly Wings" has been recut using TNA wrestlers.

Corgan does the song's first verse in spoken-word and retools the lyrics to "you're still a rat in a six-sided steel cage" in the promo spot. This Sunday's episode of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling will feature matches in a six-sided cage — a bloody cage, judging by the videos below.

Corgan recently announced he wanted to make another Pumpkins album despite saying last year that they would turn into a "singles only" band. It'll be a bit different, though, since Corgan says it could feature 44 songs and will be a "large multimedia project" that could also include a movie.

Drummer Jimmy Chamberlin left the Smashing Pumpkins last month and Corgan has been searching for his replacement. He's also been working with Electric Prunes bassist Mark Tulin.
