Britney Fans Want Refund For Vancouver Walkout

Some Britney Spears fans are angry the singer walked off stage during a recent Vancouver show and want their money back.
A statement on Spears' website said a "ventilation issue" was to blame for her leaving the stage during an April 8 show at General Motors Place.
Some of the 18,000 fans who attended the event apparently thought it had been cancelled and left since there had been no announcements to say otherwise, according to the refundfrombritney.com website.
Those who stayed later heard an announcement that stated Spears — whom the website calls "AN ALLEGED SMOKER" and shows a picture of her lighting a cigarette — wouldn't return to the stage unless people stopped smoking.
"Nearly 30 minutes later, Spears finally took to the stage again without a word to the audience," the website reads.
"At this point, alleged lip-synching or not — the momentum was ruined for the audience.
"Many people attending her concert have incurred significant costs in relation to attending Britney's show. Some paid a lot of money for inflated ticket prices through the ticket broker, transportation costs to the show, hotel costs, etc. In exchange for our commitment in supporting Britney's comeback, supporters did not receive due value for their investment.
"WE WANT OUR MONEY BACK FOR WHAT WE SPENT ON ATTENDING THE SHOW!"
The website contains a petition that fans can sign in an effort to obtain refunds with the help of a "competent lawyer" who who'll "review complaints and determine if legal action can be taken."
The website claims there may have been an "occasional cigarette (and illegal cigarette) lighted (although we didn't see any), but was there enough smoke to halt the show for 40 minutes? DEFINITELY NOT."
The site further claims the majority of the smoke in the venue came from Spears' smoke and fog machines and that GM Place's ventilation is adequate.
"When the announcer FINALLY spoke to the audience (after a 20 minute pause), you felt like a teenager being reprimanded by the principal instead of an adult who just forked out AT LEAST $140 (MINIMUM) for a single ticket, let alone the cost, for some, who flew in from other cities to see her perform," the site said.
Here's hoping Spears doesn't walk out at these dates:
