OLP, F11, Sloan Rock For Military In Halifax

Our Lady Peace, Finger 11, Sloan and Chickenfoot are among the acts who'll play Canadian Forces Halifax Rock Fest 2009 on Citadel Hill.
The Aug. 2 show will celebrate the Nova Scotia capital's birthday, support overseas Canadian military personnel and entertain their family members at home.
Canadian Forces Halifax Personnel Support Program representative Frank Cleysen told The Canadian Press that non-taxpayer money raised on military bases is funding the concert, which will be recorded and sent to Canadian troops around the world.
Organizers hope to break even financially and say that any profits will go towards military family support programs.
Early bird tickets are available for $65 until May 31, after which they'll go up by 10 bucks. Famliy & Friends passes for groups of up to four people are on sale for $240, while you can get VIP seated tickets for $175. You can buy tickets online here.
More details are available on the festival's website.
