Diddy: The Fifth Arctic Monkey

Diddy is such a big Arctic Monkeys fan that he invited drummer Matt Helders to his Miami mansion after last month's Winter Music Conference and is pushing for the British group to join his Bad Boy record label.

"This is your boy, Diddy," the entrepreneurial hip-hop producer and artist says in a video partially shot at his house. "I'm the newest member of Arctic Monkeys.

"I'm not going to be singing, I'm not going to be playing any instruments, but I'm going to be part of the crew, part of the entourage. If you fuck with Arctic Monkeys, you gotta fuck with me."

Diddy (real name Sean Combs) is shown making grits, bacon and French toast (and showing off a multitude of grapes and, later, apples) for his guests, all the while praising the Sheffield, England band.

"I'm probably the biggest Arctic Monkeys fan, so when I met [Helders] it was like a dream come true. He's the biggest Puff Daddy fan in the world. I mean he obsesses with me, you know what I'm sayin'."

Diddy obviously has the Monkeys' backs, too, since he has this warning for other U.K. acts: "If y'all even look at my guys weird backstage, I'm gonna jump on that motherfuckin' British Airways flight and come backstage and stick my foot so far up your ass."

Diddy puts his arm around Helders and declares "We having a bromance" as he shows him his Grammy Awards, which prompts Helders to call his host "the best bloke ever."

"For all those in London who don't know what happens to the white man when he comes to a P. Diddy party, this is what happens to the white man," Diddy says before revealing Simian Mobile Disco member and Arctic Monkeys producer James Ford passed out on a couch beside his swimming pool.

The last 30 seconds of the clip show the Arctic Monkeys recording in the Brooklyn, N.Y. studio where they've just completed the still untitled follow-up to 2007's Favourite Worst Nightmare.

Diddy will appear with Russell Brand, Rose Byrne and Elizabeth Moss in the Forgetting Sarah Marshall spin-off Get Him To The Greek. Christina Aguilera, Pink and Katy Perry will make cameo appearances in the film, which is scheduled to hit movie theatres next April.
