The Mars Volta Show Eight Faces

The Mars Volta will release their fifth studio album, Octahedron, on June 23 through Warner Bros.
The eight-track, 49-minute album was recorded by The Mars Volta's core duo of guitarist Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and singer Cedric Bixler-Zavala, with contributions from multi-instrumentalist Marcel Rodriguez-Lopez, drummer Thomas Pridgen, keyboardist Isaiah Owens, bassist Juan Alderete De La Pena and Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante.
Album opener "Since We've Been Wrong" is the first single.
The Mars Volta won a best hard rock performance Grammy Award this year for "Wax Simulacra" from last year's The Bedlam In Goliath. Omar Rodriguez-Lopez released a solo album titled Old Money in January through Stones Throw Records.
