Kanye West considers himself a guru of pretty much everything, so it shouldn't come as a huge shock that he's affiliated himself with the company that produces Guru organic energy drinks and will help create a new one.
"I express myself through music, fashion, art, and design, and that's why I am excited to collaborate with Guru," West said in announcing the partnership, "because the brand values what I value, and I can put what inspires me into this new product."
West hasn't stopped there, however. As the self-described "voice of this generation," he obviously feels he deserves to be everywhere, including on drinks, perfume and cologne bottles and shoes.
West has signed a deal with Jay-Z's Iconic Fragrances to launch signature scents along with the hip-hopping company owner, Rihanna and an unnamed "well-established female artist," according to People magazine.
Hundreds of fans apparently lined up outside stores in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles last weekend to buy a pair of West's new Nike Air Yeezy shoes. If you got a pair, take a photo of them and email it to fanphotos@kanyeuniversity.com with the subject line AirYeezyFanPhotos so West can post them on his website.
With all this attention, it was about time that South Park mocked the "rapper." Who knew that he's a gay fish?
