Slash And Fergie Get It On In Detroit

Fergie has long hair like Axl Rose, and we wouldn't be surprised if the Guns N' Roses frontman was developing moobs like the Black Eyed Peas singer's infamous humps, but former GN'R guitarist Slash has made no secret about who he prefers playing with.
"Fergie's the only way you'll hear Slash right now," the guitarist said in a BANG Media International article — especially now that he can party loudly in relative seclusion after purchasing Robbie Williams' former Los Angeles estate.
Fergie and Slash teamed up for two appearances in Detroit earlier this week and performed a medley of Black Eyed Peas hits, Guns N' Roses' "Sweet Child O Mine" and Heart and Led Zeppelin covers. It's unknown if any of those songs will appear on Slash's solo debut, on which his wife Perla Hudson said Fergie and Ozzy Osbourne are featured.
Fergie and Slash's second Detroit performance was part of My Coke Fest, which also featured the live debut of "Open Happiness" by Gnarls Barkley vocalist Cee-Lo Green, Gym Class Heroes singer Travis McCoy, Fall Out Boy frontman Patrick Stump and Panic At The Disco singer Brendan Urie. The song will be used in a new advertising campaign for the soft drink.
"It's a super catchy song, and I feel like I'm truly part of history because Aretha Franklin and Ray Charles did a song in the '70s for Coke," said McCoy in the BANG Media International story.
"To be the next generation to do something is awesome."
"Open Happiness" will apparently be released as a download, and a video for the song is said to be on the way.
