Mike Patton Is A Robot

Mike Patton's been busy scoring the music for Crank 2: High Voltage, which hits theatres next Friday, and that upcoming Faith No More reunion tour that launches in June. But he's also apparently set to voice a robot in Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen, according to the Playlist blog.

Patton will apparently voice either Mixmaster or Long Haul — two of the seven Constructicons that connect to form Devastator. A "close friend" of Patton's said his role is minimal.

Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen is being directed by Michael Bay (The Island, Pearl Harbor), who also oversaw 2007's Transformers. It stars Megan Fox (How To Lose Friends & Alienate People), Shia LeBeouf (Holes, I, Robot) and Rainn Wilson (The Office, The Rocker) and will be released to theatres on June 24.
