AC/DC Return To The U.S.

AC/DC will return to the U.S. after a long spell in Europe to play nine more stadium dates beginning on July 28.

The tour is in support of last year's Black Ice, which debuted at #1 on the Canadian sales chart and was the country's top-selling album in 2008.

Tickets for most of the U.S. shows will be available on Saturday at 10 a.m. local time through Ticketmaster and the Australian band's website. More concerts are expected to be announced shortly.

The veteran hard rockers started the Black Ice World Tour last October and, through March, had grossed $49.1 million U.S. (about $60.5 million Canadian) from 561,000 fans at 36 concerts, according to Billboard Boxscore.
