Lily Allen is considering retiring after she finishes her U.K. tour in September.
Allen told the U.K.'s London Lite tabloid that she has other plans for her future. She's rumoured to be setting up a "fancy dress shop" that she'll run with her friend, Jaime Winstone, according to Ace Showbiz.
"After this album and tour, I have a brand new business I am setting up, but I can't say what it is yet," Allen told London Lite. "I am definitely considering quitting music."
After Allen released her It's Not Me, It's You sophomore album in February, she made a similar statement in which she said she wasn't sure she'd ever release another album.
"As far as the future goes, there's only a vague plan of getting married and having kids," she told MTV.com then.
Allen called the New York Times newspaper "cheap skanks" on her MySpace blog in February after photographs of her in her home were syndicated to tabloids.
She took legal action against a paparazzo last month after the photographer allegedly rear-ended her car. Allen allegedly kicked the photographer and threw a bottle of water at him in response.
"There have been times when it hasn't made me happy, mainly when people are being really mean to me or when I'm getting followed down the street," Allen told MTV News last month when she mentioned quitting the business.
"When I took a break between one album and the other, still getting all that attention, you start weighing it all up, and it's like, 'I don't like this. This is my time off. I've been on tour for two years. This isn't my job to walk out of the house and be followed by 30 guys with cameras all day.'
"That's when you start going, 'Fuck this shit.'"
