Gentleman Reg Touring North America

Gentleman Reg will tour North America in support of the recently released Jet Black.

Reg (real name Reg Vermue) will open Spiral Beach's April 22 show at Ottawa's Zaphod Beeblebrox before heading out on a string of Canadian headlining dates the next day.

He'll spend early May opening for Arts & Crafts labelmates The Stills' western Canadian shows before he joins Cardigans singer Nina Persson's A Camp project to open their North American tour in May and June. Reg will close out that month with a June 27 show as part of Toronto's annual Pride Week festivities.

If you remix Jet Black's "We're In A Thunderstorm," you could have your version featured on the upcoming Arts & Crafts 2009 Summer Sampler CD. You can download the track's parts and then upload them again through Reg's website, where people will vote for the version they think is the best. You can also download Psapp's remix of the track in exchange for your email address.

Reg just released the video for "To Some It Comes Easy." It was directed by Anthony Schrag and Alice Finbow, who also star in it and are pretty damn good at climbing door frames (just watch it). Schrag and Finbow collaborated with Reg through email and shot their parts in Glasgow, Scotland and London, England, while he filmed his part in Toronto. Here it is:
