NIN's April Fool's Joke

If you thought Trent Reznor had no sense of humour, you're sorely mistaken, because he's pulled one of the best April Fool's jokes I've ever seen.

Nine Inch Nails released a new "album" called Strobe Light today (Wednesday) that was produced by Timbaland (Reznor has to get his digs at Chris Cornell somehow). The joke disc features such track titles as "Pussygrinder," "Clap Trap Crack Slap" and "Laid, Paid And Played."

It features guest appearances from Chris Martin, Jay-Z, Bono, Sheryl Crow, Justin Timberlake, Tool's Maynard James Keenan, Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas, Alicia Keys and former Ministry frontman Al Jourgensen, according to the NIN website.

A message on the site about how to download the album reads as follows:

"Your credit card will be charged $18.98 plus a $10 digital delivery convenience fee. Your files will arrive as windows media files playable on quite a few players with your name embedded all over them just in case you lose them. You will also receive an exclusive photo and a free email account with our partner Google's Gmail service.

"Your email will be kept confidential and will not be used for spam, unless we can make some money selling it."

To make this even more hilarious, the album cover features Reznor wearing a leather jacket and a pair of Kanye West-style venetian blinds shades.

Now that's how you do April Fool's Day.
