Alexisonfire Album: Old Crows/Young Cardinals

Alexisonfire's fourth album will be titled Old Crows/Young Cardinals when it hits stores this summer through Dine Alone Records.

The label was founded by Alexisonfire manager Joel Carriere and is the home of Alexisonfire singers/guitarists Dallas Green and Wade MacNeil's respective City And Colour and Black Lungs projects, Bedouin Soundclash, Moneen, Arkells, Attack In Black and others.

Dine Alone will release the disc in Canada, Australia and South Africa, while Vagrant Records will handle Old Crows/Young Cardinals' U.S. release. No dates have been announced. Alexisonfire's 2001 self-titled debut, 2004's Watch Out! and 2006's Crisis were all released by Distort Entertainment in Canada.

Alexisonfire worked on the disc with engineer Nick Blagona (April Wine, Cat Stevens) at Armoury Studios in Vancouver and finished it at Hamilton's Silo Recordings. The band co-produced Old Crows/Young Cardinals with Julius "Juice" Butty, who also worked on their last two discs.
